Open Book Festival • Comic Book Workshop • Saint Joseph County Public Library, 2007

Graphic Novel • Consultant for The Take Ten Crew and the Three O’Clock Fight, Robinson Community Learning Center, South Bend, IN. Supported through a grant from Arts Everywhere and the Community Foundation St. Joseph County. Additional support from Mossberg Printing, South Bend, IN  2006

Murals in the Park • Al Watson Park • A collaborative mural with the City of South Bend, the Parks Department and various sponsors. Community based outdoor murals on a 60’ round park building created and painted with area youth. 2004.

Mural • Western Avenue/ Walnut Street Viaduct.  A collaborative mural with the City of South Bend, South Bend Community School Corporation and La Casa de Amistad. Community based 16’ x 16’ outdoor mural created and painted with area youth. 2000.

Public Programs • Arte del Corazón del Pueblo, (Art from the Heart), Created, designed, collaborated and executed family programs for the South Bend Regional Museum of Art consisting of live music, traditional dance and regional food from Mexico, Central America, South America and Spain. Extensive graphic design and bi-lingual family guide and event posters.  Gallery exhibition of youth art. These events were in conjunction with the gallery exhibition, Imaging the World Through Naive Painting. 1999.

Teacher • Starting Over, Stepping Higher, The Center for the Homeless, South Bend, IN and the
South Bend Regional Museum of Art • Day long creative expression workshops with Center for the Homeless residents enrolled in the Stepping Higher program.  1996 - 2000.

Mural • South Bend Silver Hawks, minor league baseball team with the South Bend Regional Museum of
Art at Coveleski Stadium. 2) 8' x 16' outdoor murals created and painted with area youth and students in the La Casa de Amistad summer program. 1999.

Family Programs • Handmade Books, Wind Powered Art and Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Created and executed three family programs for the South Bend Regional Museum of Art.
Hands on art making and cultural activities.  1998 - 1999.

Mural • St. Joseph County Juvenile Justice Center with the South Bend Regional Museum of Art.
10' x 60' outdoor mural created and painted with residents of the Juvenile Justice Center.  1998.

Poetry in the Gallery • On-going public poetry readings with regional youth and adult poets.
A collaborative event with the Northern Indiana Historical Society, WVPE 88.1, Ernest Sandeen
Writers Center, South Bend Regional Museum of Art, Writers and Other Troubadours, the Writer's
Center of Indianapolis and NO EXIT, a poetry journal.  1998 - 2000.

Workshop • The Whirligig Workshop.  South Bend Regional Museum of Art workshop
exploring traditional folk art and kinetic sculpture in conjunction with Remembering Beauty:
The Seductive and Nostalgic Nature of American Landscape.  Inter-generational workshop.  1998.

Web Site • Designed and maintained web site for the South Bend Regional Museum of Art.

Curator and Designer • Phat 50, Portfolio of prints by 50 regional artists. Gallery exhibition and
limited edition portfolios for the South Bend Regional Museum of Art in conjunction with exhibition,
We're Golden: The Museum at 50.  1997.

Curator and Designer • Traditional Voices: Native American Regional Artists, South Bend 
Regional Museum of Art.  Created, curated and executed gallery exhibition, hands-on
activities and performance series in conjunction with traveling exhibition, ­Native Streams,
Contemporary Native American Art.  1997.

Mural • The Mural Project, Two murals, 8 ' x 16', created by area youth in conjunction
with the exhibition, A Graphic Odyssey: Romare Bearden as Printmaker.   Murals were created during a two-week workshop and exhibited at the South Bend Regional Museum of Art in the Jerome J. Crowley Community Gallery. 1997.

Panelist • Day Without Culture Panel, American Association of Museum Conference,
Organized by the National Endowment for the Arts. Minneapolis, MN.  1996.

Juror • Art and Social Justice Exhibition, Colfax Cultural Center, South Bend, IN.  1996.

Mural • Broadway Christian Parish and Boys and Girls Club of St. Joseph County with the SBRMA,
 8’ x 16' outdoor mural created and painted with neighborhood youth.   South Bend, IN.  1996.

Commissioned Work • South Bend Heritage Foundation, South Bend, IN • Vision • silk-screen and hand coloring on paper • This work commemorated the ground breaking of a new urban housing project for older adults, The Robertson Building.  1996.

Teacher • The Drawing Studio, art classes for Life Treatment Center residents at the Charles Martin Youth Center, South Bend, IN.  Three week intensive art experience for adult males recovering from
alcohol and drug addiction. Funded by a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission and the Florence
Carrol Foundation. 1995-1996.

Mural • La Casa de Amistad, 8' x 40' public mural created and painted with youth from the neighborhood, South Bend, IN. Sponsored by the United Way of St. Joseph Co. 1995.

Mural • This is My Neighborhood, No Shooting Allowed!  Mural project with sixth graders from South Bend Community School Corporation • Participating organizations were South Bend Police Department, the South Bend Bar Association and Chamber of Commerce Leadership group with the SBRMA 1994.

ArtistAids Assist /Aids Ministry, South Bend, IN. Designed and fabricated decorations  for yearly benefit Murder at The Morris. Morris Civic Auditorium, South Bend, IN.  Donated artwork and created designs for numerous projects.  1993 - 1996.
